  1. I stated things incorrectly in my post. The cars in 1957 or 1958 were at a motel that Dick and Lou Frenzell were managing. Bob Finney lived in Colorado Springs at the time. Or at the home of Dicks parents. I know in was in east Denver off of Colfax. I was about 6 yrs old when I saw both cars together and I still to this day remember how excited I was. #58 & #85. Both were a salmon pink color. My mother has a lot of pictures from those years. I am going to go through them and I will post some of them at a later date.

  2. I am very happy to find the car that Bob Daly has. When I was a small boy my father kept one of the Frenzell cars in our garage while it was readied for the Hill Climb. It was the Bob Finney car #58. Sometime around 1957 or 1958 we were at the garage where Finney kept both cars. I want to say he had them either at his parents house or at the Motel that he and Merle managed. When Bob Finney won the race in 1955 my oldest Brother rode down the mountain with Bob driving. Does anyone know where the Finney car #58 is. I know that Harry Ivers owned it. Next time I am in Denver I am going to stop and see Bob Daly so that I can see his car. Oh, my father was with Bob Finney when he won the race in 55 because he was the crew members who’s job it was to take care of the fuel for the car.
