Jack Hahn Passes In Wyoming

Received word that Jack Hahn of Moran Wyoming passed away at 11:30 AM, Jan. 31 at Jackson Wyoming. He started racing in 1949 at Rock Springs and retired in 1968 from driving. Hahn would win two Big Car Racing Association Championships, barely missing a third in 1965, and finished runner-up four times. Ted Foltz would win two Pikes Peak Championships in the Hahn built and prepared #31 in 1970 and 1980. Hahn was inducted into the BCRA Hall of Fame at Speedway Motors in 2006 alongside Andy Anderson, Gordon Herring, Karl Mismach, Curly Doggett, Don Budy, Harry Ivers, Gordon Herring, Bob Armstrong and Gene Novotny. He was inducted into the Belleville Highbanks Hall of Fame in 2009. Jack had been receiving treatment for respiratory issues. More to follow.
