For most of my adult life GT “Uncle Jerry” Miller has been a friend, and mentor to me. It is with great sadness that I have learned of his passing. Jerry was an accomplished photographer, writer, and story teller. He and best friend Tom Davey, “The Real Tom & Jerry Show”, traveled the dusty dirt tracks of America for many years reporting on races. At both the Chili Bowl and the Belleville Nationals they became a institution. After each race night, a meeting of the minds took place at Jerry’s tailgate, where stories, and the “potion” always ice cold, were shared to the delight of all. Uncle Jerry now joins TD at the Golden Raceway in the sky where his best bud has been waiting the last couple years for him. Thank you Jerry for your friendship, your help, and your kindness, shared with me, my sister, and my mom over the years. RIP Dear Friend!
